A Wander around the Old Town
Summertime in Prague's Old Town Square is a hive of activity. Groups of people congregate to watch the Astronomical Clock 'perform' on the hour while others stand ready at various meeting points for the multitude of walking tours available. Old Town Square has the Old Town Hall with its clock tower, the most photographed attraction in the square, not so conveniently covered with scaffolding for renovations..great time to do it at the peak tourist season! The square also has the Kinsky Palace, now the National Gallery of Art, the Tyn Church with its eye catching steeples and beautifully decorated medieval and Baroque buildings that line The Old Square.
