A Week in Prague

Summertime in Prague is a very popular time with a huge number of tourists, school sporting and dance teams and groups of beer seeking males. It is also a time for a multitude of conferences with many people wearing similar shirts or identity fobs bearing different logos and colours.
We arrived on Saturday after an overnight stopover in Incheon, near Seoul in South Korea. We were given complimentary accommodation by Korean Airlines at the 5 star Grand Hyatt with buffet dinner and breakfast included. We will certainly fly Korean Airlines again with a stopover to break up the 10 +10 hour flight to Prague.

Our accommodation in Prague is the Hotel Myo Caruso in the Jewish Quarter just a block from the Astronomy Conference Venue at Charles University Law School. It is also a block from the Vtava River and only a short walk to the Old Town Centre.

On our first evening in Prague we sampled Czech beer while looking over the Old Town Square.

A novel way of sampling Czech beer was popular with male groups who had to pedal to make their 'bar truck' move while drinking beer with loud music. No doubt, you could hear them coming from a distance.
